A quick guide on how to rent PA kit from Bespoke Audio Hire:
First and foremost in order to hire a sound system / public address or audio visual equipment from us you must supply the following details and identification:
• Your full name
• Address with proof of that address – NO PHOTOCOPIES
• Photo identification in the form of a valid drivers licence and passport
• A recent utility bill – NO PHOTOCOPIES
There is never any hidden charges with Bespoke Audio Hire.....However please bear in mind that when you are hiring individual items there are also no free extras either. If you want a speaker, hire a speaker. If you want a power amp, hire a power amp. If you want a speaker and a power amp, you will need to hire both from us.
•We check the condition and operation of all items before they leave us. We recommend that you check them yourself before you accept delivery. On accepting delivery or collecting equipment from us you agree that an item is in good condition and fully operational unless written notice of any marks or defects is provided.
•A hirer is liable to us for the whole cost of any loss of or damage to equipment, however this is caused. Where an item cannot be repaired or replaced before we need to use it again, the cost of damage or loss will include our own hire of a temporary replacement.
•Damage to cases or containers will be included in the cost of repair or replacement.
•A deposit (of an amount wholly at our discretion, but usually equal to typical repair costs) will usually be required before an item is collected from us or delivered to you.
•Your deposit does not cover all potential loss or damage. Where the cost of repair or replacement exceeds the amount of any deposit paid, we will require a further payment of the value of the difference. Where the amount of a deposit exceeds the cost of any repair or replacement, any remaining balance will be refunded to you after a repair has been completed or replacement obtained.
•All equipment is used at the hirer's risk. We do not accept liability for any costs or claims arising from a hirer's use of our equipment. Having taken delivery of an item, a hirer accepts responsibility for its functional and electrical safety, and for ensuring it is used correctly.
•We do not hire to minors (under 16)
Again PLEASE remember identification must be supplied, If you forget to bring it we cannot supply you any equipment.
When planning to hire large sound systems information is of key importance to compile a quotation accurately and we need to know:
• Size of the venue and mains power location / outlet.
•Any Dj, Mc, live act or live band rider requirements including stage plan, mic and monitor lists.
•Load in and out details, service lifts, stairs, local time noise curfews.
•Outdoor events, provision for wet weather, loading ramps, local crew availability, track road placement and power availability.
We are happy to do a site visit if necessary to plan your show in conjunction with the venue personnel. Full risk assessment, method statement, PAT test certificates, and liability insurance documentation is always available as well.
